- Ack. Want to bid on this but it’s looking like since it carries a salvage title it can not be imported back into the US. Would sell my NSX for this. Boo.

Jeremy C (Seller)Tue, Feb 7, 2023 4:59 PM - Any leakdown or compression numbers available?
GUL MTue, Feb 7, 2023 4:46 PMWe don't have that information. But can see if we can provide when auction closes.
Ferrari D (Seller)Tue, Feb 7, 2023 5:32 PM - This is so unfortunate! Literally one of my bucketlist dream cars. I'm so tempted to bid, but being unable to bring it back to the states poses the biggest threat.
Jordan KTue, Feb 7, 2023 4:40 PM - This is what I found on the US Customs and Border Patrol site and through a google search: In order to meet the requirements for an import vehicle to USA you will need to have both an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) sticker and a Department of Transportation (DOT) sticker affixed to the vehicle. If the vehicle is 25 years or older it is exempt from the DOT certification sticker. If it is over 21 years or older, it is exempt from the EPA certification sticker. If the vehicle is a salvaged, repaired salvage or reconstructed motor vehicle, more investigation is required to determine admissibility. A vehicle taken from the United States for non-commercial, private use may be returned duty free by proving to CBP that it was previously owned and registered in the United States.
Jeremy CMon, Feb 6, 2023 3:21 PM - Correct me if im wrong, but once a vehicle is salvage it can no longer come back to the US, even though it was originally a US car? I know they can go to Canada from the US salvage. But not the other way around?

Jeremy CThu, Feb 2, 2023 7:10 PM - Listing states car was purchased in Florida, would assume its a US VIN.

How it Works
- You must register to place a bid.
- All bids are verified by a credit card hold to ensure commitment of potential buyers. When a bid is placed, we place a hold on the credit card on file for $5,000. When the auction closes, the hold is released for all bidders who didn’t win the vehicle.
- Sniping protection extends the auction clock by two minutes each time a bid is placed in the auction’s final moments. The auction isn’t over until two full minutes have elapsed since the highest bid was placed.
- If the auction reserve is met when the listing ends (or the auction is no reserve), PocketList provides the seller and winning bidder with each others’ contact information inside the PocketList platform.
- Sellers pay a $100 listing fee for our white glove concierge listing service. There are no other seller fees on PocketList.
- Buyers pay a 3% fee on top of the final sale price to PocketList, with a minimum of $250, and capped at $5,000.
